St. Olav's Church (or Skeidi Church) is an ancient ruin from the 12th century located in Bamble, Norway. It is believed to have been built sometime between 1150 and 1250, and was known for being the main church of the Grenland district. This stone building is credited with introducing elements of English Norman architecture in its design, most notably within its rectangular nave. This remarkable structure was left to fall into ruins until 1988 when portions were restored as part of a conservation effort. this remarkable ruin continues to be a popular destination for visitors who wish to take in its rich history and stunning architecture.
