The Beothuk Interpretation Centre, located in Boyd's Cove, Newfoundland, is a Provincial Historic Site that offers a glimpse into the unique culture of the Beothuk people. Visitors can explore exhibits and artifacts that shed light on this vanished Indigenous group who once inhabited the area. A 1.5 km walking trail leads to the village site where housepits outline the former Beothuk settlement. The site also features a sculpture by artist Gerald Squires called "The Spirit of the Beothuk" to honor their memory. Visitors can leave offerings at the Spirit Garden as a sign of respect. Open from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, the centre provides a fascinating look into Newfoundland's rich heritage.

COST (cad): $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, free for youth under 16
