Grímsey is a tiny Icelandic island located just off the north coast of the main island of Iceland. It's known for being the northernmost inhabited territory in Iceland and for straddling the Arctic Circle. With a population of around 57 people, Grímsey is home to puffins and other seabirds that come to breed on its cliffs.
Ferry from Dalvík : One way takes about 3 hours and cost 4.000 isk. I would only book last minute or pay on board depending if the weather is good. I don't think it's worth visiting in a bad weather.
Flight - you can also fly here for example from Akureyri with Norlandair. It only takes 30 minutes but it is of course more expensive. https://www.norlandair.is/en
