Milford Sound, located in the stunning South Island of New Zealand, is a breathtaking fjord known for its dramatic scenery. With towering cliffs that rise steeply from the water and cascading waterfalls that tumble down into the deep blue waters, it’s a place that feels almost otherworldly. Visitors often rave about the lush rainforests that surround the area, home to unique wildlife like dolphins and seals. The weather can be quite unpredictable, adding to the charm and mystique of the landscape. Our two hour boat cruise through Milford Sound was our favorite activity of our entire New Zealand trip.
