Isthmus Peak Track near Wanaka offers stunning views of Lake Hawea and Lake Wanaka, with fewer crowds compared to Roys Peak. The hike is a bit of a slog but well worth it for the epic scenery along the way. It is a challenging 16km return hike with 1155m of elevation.
