Imagine a place with no cell phone reception, no WiFi, no electricity (only a few generators), no paved roads, and no warm water. A place where it's just you and nature. Where you feel like you went back to your origins, how life looked like for your ancestors.

They have become rare treasures, those places. Prokoško Lake is one of them and I'm humbled by the strong people making a life there, by their hospitality and friendliness. The nature all around is is stunningly beautiful and rugged and wild and if you have the chance, I really recommend you go here.

Getting there is a bit of an adventure and the road there is not paved so you will need a good car (it doesn't need to be a jeep, but a 4x4 is helpful) to get there and drive carefully. In the winter, the inhabitants of the village go down into the valley, so the nature park is closed.
