Looking for something a bit more laid-back and less fancy than Paternoster and Langebaan? Yzerfontein with its just around 1,200 inhabitants might be the place for you. The town is known for its Sixteen Mile Beach from where you have views of the West Coast National Park and Dassen Island. With its lovely coastlines and local wildlife, Yzerfontein is perfect for nature lovers and to spend a peaceful vacation. In August and September, the area is covered in beautiful wildflowers just like West Coast National Park that is closeby.
