Hutt Lagoon is an incredibly unique destination close to Kalbarri.

It is a salt lake but because of the algae in it it turns pink and it's so stunning to see! We tried to swim and float in there but make sure you can take a shower afterwards to rinse the salt off of you.

There is a lookout on the main road but if you have a 4WD we recommend to keep going and drive to the shore of the lake! We parked up and had lunch there.

Photo tip: best time to visit and see the lake very pink is when the sun is up in the sky.
