You’ll need a timed, prepaid ticket, so book in advance since sessions often sell out. Plan to spend about 2–3 hours here. The lagoon is roughly 20 minutes from Keflavík Airport and about 45 minutes from Reykjavík, which makes it an easy stop if you’re arriving in or leaving Iceland.

Bring a swimsuit, a waterproof pouch for your phone, and conditioner to protect your hair from the mineral-rich water (if you have long hair, we'd recommend putting your hair up to avoid it touching the water.) Avoid wearing jewelry, as the minerals can dull metals. Showers and lockers are provided, and towels or robes are included depending on your ticket type. There’s also a restaurant and bar on site, but food and drinks are very pricey, so keep that in mind if you plan to eat here. Spa treatments are also available for an additional cost.
