Transportation:

A metro or bus ticket costs approximately €1.50 and is valid for 100 minutes.

For the bus, I used the TicketAppy app (it says ATAC in the top right) to buy tickets.

For the metro, I went directly to the ticket machine at the platform entrance, which had a POS terminal, so I could pay with my card and the gate would open.

✈️ From Ciampino Airport to Rome:

The Terravision bus (tickets purchased at arrivals for €6 per person) takes you to Termini station, and from there you can take the metro to your hotel.

We took bus 520 from the stop just outside the airport, got off at Cinecittà, and from there took the metro directly to our stop. The two tickets cost us €3 per person.
