Prešeren Square is a historical square in Koper Old Town. It features two important landmarks of the city: Da Ponte Fountain and the Muda Gate, located on opposite sides of the square.

• The Muda Gate is the only original gate still standing in the city of Koper. 

• Da Ponte Fountain is an interesting spot because it’s not just an average fountain. When Koper was still an island, it was used as a subaquatic aqueduct to move drinkable water into the city.
