FRED is a vibrant bar located in the Lambrate area. Even though Lambrate is not one of my favourite areas in Milan, it has some of the best bars in the city, all in near proximity to each other and Fred is one of them.

The inside is pretty small and usually people stay mostly outside the bar. I usually come here during the spring/summer, but even in winter is a nice spot. It's usually crowded with a young crowd during the weekends.

They serve amazing cocktails and their menu changes several times during the year, so I always come back to try something new.

If you are hungry and want to grab something to eat, they also have several options like burgers or finger food, also they have one of the best hummus I've ever had in Milan.

A cool feature of this bar, is that they sell records :)

I'd recommend to book in advance, especially if you want to sit inside.
