What to order:
Order a bowl of xôi (sticky rice) topped with braised pork and crispy-edged pâté. It’s a classic Hanoi breakfast, simple, filling, and designed to keep you going for the morning rather than be fancy.
Why it’s here:
We didn’t manage to get here ourselves, but this spot is often mentioned as a proper, old-school Hanoi breakfast place. It’s tucked away down a small alley off Hàng Mã Street and is known for doing one thing well: traditional sticky rice the way locals eat it early in the day.
Tip:
This one is early. They’re usually only open from around 6:30am to 8:30am. If you go, let us know how it is!
