A classic photospot, this large Banff sign sits next to one of the townsite's main entry roads. The best place to park is the free Train Station parking lot (about 400m, 6-7 minutes walk). This lot is convenient for visiting the downtown area too.

In summer 2025, the sign will be moved to a new home close to the Banff Train Station.

Be prepared to wait for your chance to take a photo with the sign.

A Parks Canada parks pass is required to explore Banff National Park ($22/day for a vehicle of up to 7 people).
