Overlander Falls is a wide waterfall on the Fraser River. A short downhill trail (1km return) leads from the roadside parking area down to a viewpoint in front of the falls and surrounding rapids. Prepare to walk uphill on the way back.

The name of the waterfall refers to the Overlanders expedition of 1862. This group travelled from Ontario to the Rockies, hoping to reach the Cariboo goldfields; they primarily used the Fraser River to travel through this area.

Staying at one of the campgrounds in Mount Robson Provincial Park? Consider hiking the longer loop trail to Overlander Falls. It is 6km long (about 2 hours) - start at the Visitor Centre or Robson Meadows campground.
