  • You only have to purchase it for the adults in your group, as it gives free travel for kids up to age 16! This is a HUGE savings.

  • The pass is valid for 1 month, unlike other passes which need to be used for 3-8 consecutive days!

• Choose a Car for Families of 4+

  • For this itinerary, a rental car is usually cheaper than multiple Swiss Travel Passes. Parking + gas is still less than train tickets for 5–6 people, and it saves time with kids.

  • If you’re a smaller family, the Swiss Half Fare Card is a better value.

• Mix Paid Adventures with Free Playgrounds

  • Big-ticket days (like Grindelwald First, Rothorn Bahn, or Cardada gondola) can add up. Balance these with free days—lakeside beaches, alpine playgrounds, village walks, and waterfalls are just as magical.
