Þúfa, otherwise known as the Tussock, is a stunning 8-meter tall work of art in Reykjavík, Iceland. The artwork was created in 2013 by Icelandic artist Ólöf Nordal, and was made from 4500 tons of gravel. This monumental artwork can be found in the Grandi area of the city at the harbour mouth, offering spectacular views of the nearby Old Harbor and Faxa Bay. This impressive piece of Icelandic contemporary art is crowned with a hut traditionally used for making harðfiskur (dried fish), making it a unique symbol of the country's rich culture and heritage.
