Barleycove Beach is one of Cork's best beaches, and it's easy to see why! Located on the remote Mizen Peninsula, it's a golden sandy beach between Mizen Head and Brow Head – the two southernmost points of the main land in Ireland. Formed by a magnificent tsunami in 1755, it boasts beautiful rolling sand dunes stretching inland, as well as an abundance of wildlife ranging from horses to birds.
