Roseiral da Quinta do Arco, located in the village of Arco de São Jorge, is a breathtaking rose garden that opened to the public in April 2004. It was established in honor of Isabel de Herédia, Duchess of Braganza, and is considered one of the largest and most famous rose gardens in the world, featuring over 1,500 different rose varieties.

The garden showcases a mix of old and modern rose species, including climbing and non-climbing varieties. Each plant is labeled with its name and type, making it easy to appreciate the diversity. It has been recognized as a 'Garden of Excellence' by the World Federation of Rose Societies.

Since June 2017, the garden has been managed by the Pestana Hotel Group and is part of the Pestana Quinta do Arco Nature & Rose Garden Hotel, which offers 58 rooms in various accommodations.

The garden is typically open to visitors year-round, providing a unique and beautiful experience for garden enthusiasts.
