This is a little known gem in the Westfjords, named after Iceland's most notorious outlaws, Grettir the strong. It's surrounded by beautiful nature and a unique view of Breiðafjörður bay.

Swimming pools are an integral part of Icelandic culture and has been ever since people started gathering in natural hot springs in the past. It's where people meet an talk about everything from the weather to politics. Entering one of those pools is really the easiest way to immerse yourself in the local culture.
