Located in the coastal town of Portknockie is the famous Bow Fiddle Rock. Shaped like a violin (fiddle) on it's side, the sea arch is thrashed by the roaring waves of the North Sea. There is a walk pathway down to the pebbled beach and there is a small sea cave on the left as you head down. Please stick to the designated pathways, the area has steep cliff edges. There are no picnic seats but the grass is plentiful for a little rest. This is one of my favourite views across the Moray coastline.
If you visit in the winter months you may be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.
