If you live in Zurich or visit Zurich during November and December, it can happen that you won't get to see the sun for multiple days because of the thick fog. The Bachtel is a mountain in the Zurich Oberland that is not far away from the city and offers you an escape from the fog as you can see on the pictures. Mostly a spectacular sea of fog will reveal to you when ascending to the top.
