Dar Salam was the first Iraqi restaurant in Portland and is truly the best. They have amazing vegan options like their eggplant stew and vegan plate. Dar Salam continues to operate as a family-owned business and the most kind people. Their Iraqi coffee and tea is a must as well. This downtown has a beautifully painted mural that makes you feel transported to the Middle East!
