BrĂșarfoss is that jaw-dropping blue waterfall that looks like something out of a fairytale. đ The water is this electric blue colour that honestly doesnât seem real â itâs because of the glacier meltwater flowing down through the lava rocks. Itâs often called Icelandâs Bluest Waterfall, and yep, it lives up to the name.
Itâs a bit more of a hidden spot compared to the big-name waterfalls, so youâll need to hike about 3km (around 45 minutes) to get there. The trail winds through a lovely path along a river, and once you reach the falls? Total wow moment. đ
Thereâs a bridge right over the waterfall, so you get this epic view of the water rushing through the narrow canyon below. Itâs a quieter, less touristy vibe â and totally worth the walk.
