Phanom Rung is probably the most impressive and significant of the Khmer temples in Thailand. It was constructed in Angkor style during the 10th until the 13th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva.
The main 2 interesting points are the 2nd floor Naga bridge and the main Prasat. The rest of the ruins are spread all over the city and are also good photo spots, inlcuding Prasat Muang Tam.
