Not far from Royal Park Rajapruek is the impressive Wat Phrathat Doi Kham. This Temple is an attractive not much visited temple known for its 17 meters high Buddha image. It is situated on a lush mountainside. 'Phrathat' refers to the fact that this temple houses relics of the Buddha, and 'Doi Kham' means 'Golden Mountain! You might encounter crowds on the weekend, because this temple is very well known for bringing good fortune. It is said that if you ask for something very difficult to get, you come ask it here and it will happen. And if that succeeds, you must come back and offers jasmine flowers. That's why you will see mountains of jasmine flower offerings inside the main chapel, and for the little story, my friend got covid at that time, went there and asked to be healed quickly, and it worked ;)
