The Courtown Kiltennel Walking Trail has received its official accreditation from Sport Ireland.

This unique coastal heritage trail is one of the country’s only wooded dune systems in Ireland and is, therefore, a site of ecological importance.

It is an absolut unique place to explore and the tree system next to the beach is beautiful. I recommend you parking right here: 52°39'54.3"N 6°12'45.8"W and then walking down towards the south through the forest or at the beach.
