Bertra Beach is located in Murrisk, Westport. It is an exposed beach which is very popular with walkers, bird watchers and kite surfers.

Bertra Beach is a wide strand located 12km from Westport in County Mayo. It is mainly a sandy beach with some rocky stretches in the spring tide. There is a car park and toilet facilities are provided.

I recommend you walking down all the way on the beach stretch, please be aware you should not walk over the dunes as they are endangered and volatile.
