The Alcázar di Siviglia park is a world-famous historic royal palace located in Seville, Spain. This breathtaking palace has a long and storied history, having first been built during the 10th century under Islamic rule, and then eventually expanded and reconstructed by Pedro I during the 1360s in an ornate Mudéjar style. The Alcázar itself is an impressive complex which includes a monumental façade, courtyards, and a stunning domed Hall of Ambassadors. The park is further elevated by beautiful tile decoration composed of majolica and arista tiles, and also has several preserved areas from the Almohad period. Visitors to this iconic destination can explore the beguiling interiors and lush gardens, as well as discover artifacts and narratives left behind by centuries of different rulers from both European and Arabic cultures.
