The Orologio ad Acqua del Pincio is an incredible and remarkable sight located in the Borghese Garden, Rome. This unique water clock, constructed by Giovan Battista Embriaco, a Dominican friar and watchmaker, was first displayed in 1873 and has been delighting visitors ever since as they admire its tall structure made up of cast iron and glass panels, resembling the tall trees surrounding it, and its clock faces creatively resembling tree trunk sections. Its workspace reveals a mesmerizing hydraulic system that keeps the clock ticking accurately despite changes in water temperature; truly a superb creation! Furthermore, just below this magical spot, on the beautiful Pincio terrace, visitors can enjoy one of the best views of Rome. It's a must-see for all travelers visiting the Eternal City.
