Located between Truckee and North Lake Tahoe, Northstar California is one of the most beginner- and family-friendly ski resorts in the region and is also part of the Epic Pass.

The mountain has wide, well-groomed beginner trails, but it also offers plenty of intermediate and advanced runs, so there’s something for every skill level. One of Northstar’s highlights is its terrain park, which is considered one of the top parks in North America for freestyle skiers and snowboarders. Beyond the slopes, the village brings a lively atmosphere with shops, dining, and seasonal events, and families will appreciate the ski school and adventure zones for kids.

In the summer, the resort transforms into a hub for mountain biking and hiking, with concerts and village dining, so you can swap skis for bikes and still enjoy all the on-site amenities.
