The trail to Upper Eagle Falls starts right across from Emerald Bay State Park. This is a very short hike that takes you up a series of stone-cut steps. From the parking area, it’s about a 5-minute walk to the falls. You can stop at the Upper Eagle Falls Bridge to take in the view, or keep going toward Eagle Lake, which is well worth the extra hike. The area around the falls offers great photo opportunities and a chance to enjoy the rushing alpine water up close.
