Located in the Appenzell Alps of Switzerland, the Seealpsee is a beautiful lake with sparkling turquoise water. Sitting at an elevation of 1,143.2 metres above sea level, the surface area of the lake covers 13.6 hectares (34 acres). It is a popular tourist destination for its breathtaking views and many attractions, from the Berggasthaus Forelle am Seealpsee with its large open air terrace to the network of routes around Ebenalp connecting visitors to other notable sights such as Wildkirchli and Säntis. With plenty to explore, enjoy and experience, a visit to Seealpsee promises a memorable time of relaxation and fun.
