Welcome to one of the best spots on the whole east coast for watching the world go by. You're on Quandamooka Country here, and the headland at Point Lookout offers some of the most spectacular ocean views you'll find. The must-do is the North Gorge Walk, an easy 1.2km boardwalk that hugs the cliffs, where you can spot kangaroos chilling, and dolphins, turtles, and manta rays in the crystal-clear water below. If you're visiting between June and November, you're in for a real treat – it's a prime spot for watching humpback whales on their annual migration, often just a few hundred metres from shore.
