Get ready for one of the most spectacular views on K'gari at Indian Head, the island's easternmost point. It’s a short, rewarding scramble up the rocky headland, but the panoramic vistas of 75 Mile Beach and the Pacific are absolutely worth it. From the top, you can often spot sharks, turtles, dolphins, and even migrating humpback whales in the winter, so give yourself some time to soak it all in. Just remember, you'll need a 4WD to get to the base of the headland before you start your walk.
