Get ready to be amazed by Amicalola Falls, the tallest cascading waterfall in Georgia. You have a few ways to experience its beauty: for a real workout, take the famous staircase up the falls—it's a leg-burner but the misty views from the midway bridge are incredible. If you're not up for the 600-plus steps, you can drive to overlooks at the middle and top, or take a gentle, paved 0.3-mile trail to a fantastic viewpoint. A popular loop hike to see the falls and surrounding forest will take you about two hours.
