For a perfect dose of nature right near the city, you have to check out Cochran Shoals. It's one of our most popular spots, with a fantastic 3.1-mile loop trail that follows the Chattahoochee River. The main path is wide and mostly flat, making it ideal for a relaxed walk, a scenic run, or a bike ride where you can soak in views of the water and wildlife-rich marshes. If you're feeling more adventurous, you can easily connect to the hillier, more shaded trails of Sope Creek for a bit more of a challenge.
