Flakstadtind is a great place to hike for those looking for an outdoor experience in Norway. Located just outside of the village of Flakstad on the Lofoten Islands, the trail follows a well worn and mostly dry route that gently ascends the valley before reaching a shelter at the base of the mountain. It then culminates in a steep climb to the summit where hikers are rewarded with stunning views of Skagsanden beach. This peak is ideal for locals during the weekend, who can appreciate the easy but rewarding hike without having to worry about being crowded by other tourists.
