When you are visiting the Tre Cime or Three Peaks, you shouldn't miss the Cadini di Misurina. From the parking lot next to Rifugio Auronzo, it is a 45 minute walk with stunning views all around.

While most people head to the view of the Three Peaks, you will be walking into the opposite direction. Generally there won't be as many people on this trail so it might be a bit harder to spot. This mountain range is located on the Alta via No. 4 and the Alberto Bonacossa trail. You'll find the exact spot on Google Maps as "punto panoramico vista Cadini"

Personally, I find that sunset is the better option for this location. In the valley there can often be low hanging clouds adding a beautiful atmosphere to your pictures.

Starting summer 2025, driving up to Rifugio Auronzo via the toll road requires an online reservation. This system aims to manage traffic and protect the environment. Reservations must include your visit date, vehicle license plate, and contact information.

From 31 May to 12 October 2025, a shuttle bus runs from Toblach/Dobbiaco to the Auronzohütte hut as an alternative to the toll road.
