This is one of my local secret spot I would love to share with you. This little patch of heaven is easily accessible but often overlooked from hikers visiting the area. You can take the gondola of Dantercepies or hike for 45 minutes from Passo Gardena.

To find the location you can use the mountain station of the gondola as your reference point. When you stand on the top of Dantercepies lookout for a big cross on the hill facing the Sasso Lungo. From the top it will be a short 15 minute walk to the cross and you will find a small meadow with flowers and stunning views all around.
