At the summit of Mount Ikoma, this charming, old-school amusement park is full of nostalgic vibes and sweeping views over Osaka and Nara. It's not a flashy theme park, but that’s exactly what makes it special, think vintage rides, colourful signs, and a relaxed, local atmosphere.

You’ll reach the park by taking the Ikoma Cable Car (shaped like a cat, dog or cake) from Ikoma Station. The amusement park is the final stop, and the ride up is an experience in itself.

  • Entry is free

  • Rides are pay-as-you-go (most cost under 500 yen)

  • Great spot for sunset views and family-friendly fun

It’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon of slow exploring, with plenty of photo-worthy corners and a throwback feel that’s hard to find these days.
