The Nara Deer Farm is honestly one of the cutest spots to visit in Nara!

Here, you can buy crackers to feed the famous bowing deer. Yes! They actually bow to you before you give them a treat!

The crackers are only a few dollars and are sold at stalls all over the park.

We had so much fun feeding them, but definitely find a quiet spot because some of the deer are pretty eager and a bit overfed!

It’s such a fun experience and makes for a super cute and unique day trip from Kyoto. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area!

Top Tip: Pop in to nearby Nakatanidou in Nara to see the famous mochi pounding in action
