To-ji Temple is a must-see if you're in Kyoto, especially for its towering five-story pagoda, the tallest wooden structure in Japan!

It's absolutely magnificent, standing tall and majestic against the sky.

The temple grounds are peaceful, they have gorgeous gardens and smaller buildings to explore.

The best part? It’s free to visit, though there’s a small fee to enter the pagoda.

You’ll need about 30-45 minutes to stroll through thr grounds.
