You’ll probably spot this bright red pagoda peeking out from the hillside as you make your way through Kiyomizudera, it’s the one that looks like it’s floating among the trees.
That’s Koyasu-no-to, and it’s just a short walk down a little path off the main temple route. Most people miss it, which is wild because it’s one of the prettiest angles in the whole area.

Follow the path near the main hall, it’s about a 5-minute walk
Entry included with your Kiyomizudera ticket (¥400)
Usually less crowded than the main temple areas
