Universal Studios Japan in Osaka is an absolute must if you're a theme park fan, or even just a Harry Potter lover.

From Super Nintendo World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Hollywood-style roller coasters and live shows, it’s full-on fun from the moment you walk in.

But here’s the thing: the lines can be brutal—we’re talking 90 minutes or more for popular rides. If you want to make the most of your day, buying a Fast Pass is pretty much essential. We were skipping queues in 10–15 minutes while others were still baking in the sun.

  • Tickets and Express Passes sell out fast, buy in advance

  • Easy to reach via train to Universal City Station

  • Opens early and gets busy quickly, so plan ahead

It’s a big day, but totally worth it, especially if you’re prepared. Expect crowds, epic rides, themed snacks, and a whole lot of movie magic.
