Welcome to Dyrhólaey, the southernmost tip of Iceland! From the car park, a short walk takes you to some of the most dramatic coastal views you'll ever see. You'll be standing atop massive cliffs with the famous stone arch, a giant gateway carved by the Atlantic, stretching out into the waves. Look one way, and you'll see the endless black sands of Reynisfjara beach; look the other, and a different black sand coastline disappears towards the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. In the summer, the cliffs are teeming with puffins, and the historic lighthouse adds to the charm. It's a truly breathtaking spot where you can feel the raw power of Icelandic nature.
