Crestasee is a small, crystal-clear mountain lake near Flims in Graubünden, surrounded by lush forest and meadows. Perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or a relaxing lakeside picnic, it’s easily accessible and family-friendly, offering gentle walking paths and a café for refreshments.

Who it’s recommended for:
Families, casual hikers, and photographers seeking a calm alpine lake experience with turquoise waters.

Best Season to Visit:
🌸 Late spring – 🍂 Autumn (May–October) — trails clear and lakes are accessible.
❄️ Winter: The lake may be frozen; hiking nearby possible on snow trails.

How to Get There:

  • By Car: Drive to Trin Mulin / Flims Waldhaus, park near the lake at one of the "Caumasee Parking" spots (~10 min walk to Crestasee). Parking is limited.

  • By Train & Bus: Take the train to Chur, then PostBus to Trin Mulin, Crestasee, followed by a 10-minute walk.

  • Distance: ~1–2 km round trip

  • Time: ~20–30 minutes

  • Elevation Gain: Minimal
