Directions

Café Qwensel is a charming café located in the historic Qwensel House, one of the oldest preserved wooden buildings in Turku. Stepping inside feels like a journey back in time, with antique interiors, vintage furniture, and historical artifacts creating a cozy, atmospheric setting.

This is my go to spot when I want to have a peaceful and relaxing coffee break.

LOCAL TIPS:

  • Weekends can get busy, so arrive early if you want a quiet table.

  • Don’t miss the chance to peek at the small museum section, which gives a glimpse into the lives of Turku residents in the 18th and 19th centuries.

  • Grab one of their pies, honestly, they’re some of the best I’ve ever tasted!

It's located within walking distance from Turku city centre, making it easy to include on a sightseeing route.
