Forum Marinum - Maritime Centre
Museum
Directions

Forum Marinum is Finland’s national maritime center, located right by the Turku harbor. It’s a museum and a working naval exhibition where you can explore historic ships, modern naval vessels, and maritime exhibitions. Also make sure you check out the museum ships outside of the museum, they are gorgeous!

Plus, the scenic views of the surrounding harbor make it a lovely spot to hang out and soak in the maritime vibe.

COST: Entrance fee is around €16 for adults. Prices may vary depending on temporary exhibitions, also check out the museum website for more fee options. Guided tours can add extra cost.

HOW TO GET THERE: It's a bit farther from the main Turku center, about 40 minute walk. You can easily take a bus from near the Market Square, and there are several bus stops close to the harbor. Check local routes for details. If you’re coming by car, there’s a large parking area available

If you’re coming from the city center, I’d definitely recommend checking out Turku Castle at the same time, which is super close by. Both are easy to include in the same trip.
