Directions

Suomen Joutsen (The Swan of Finland) is one of Turku’s most iconic sights, a beautiful white sailing ship permanently docked by the Aura River. Originally built in 1902, it has served as a training ship, a naval school vessel, and now a museum ship.

You can explore its decks and exhibitions as part of the Forum Marinum Maritime Centre, where you’ll also find other historic ships and maritime displays.

LOCATION: Right next to Forum Marinum, Turku.

COST: Tickets can be purchased for the Suomen Joutsen alone or as part of a multi-museum ticket that includes other Forum Marinum exhibits.

WHEN TO GO: Open during the summer season.
